BARRE Class
Our BARRE class combines elements of strength training, Pilates, and yoga into an engaging 60-minute experience designed to make you feel strong, balanced, and energized. Expect your muscles to feel magnetic as you flow through our signature BARRE movements, all while celebrating your body’s capabilities.
Equipment Options: We may incorporate a variety of tools to enhance your practice, including light and heavy weights, Pilates balls, Pilates rings, long therabands, mini loop bands, gliders, yoga blocks, or yoga straps. Yoga mats are provided at the studio. *

What to Wear: Come dressed in anything that makes you feel comfortable and confident while moving. No shoes are needed; you’re welcome to go barefoot, wear socks, or opt for sticky socks, which are available for purchase at our studio.
Pace and Modifications: The class is upbeat yet beginner-friendly, and all levels are welcome. You’ll have the freedom to move at your own pace and choose variations that honour your body. Our instructors guide you to layer on spice or modify movements as needed. For instance, in a squat sequence, you can choose to lift one heel at a time or challenge yourself with both—there’s no right or wrong, just what feels best for you.
What to Expect: Each session may include a warm-up, light cardio or dynamic movements to elevate your heart rate, arm exercises, squats, lunges, glute-focused work, barre pliés, core strengthening, and a mindful stretch to finish. All movements are functional and designed to support your overall well-being.
