PRENATAL Class
PRENATAL is a thoughtful, 60-minute class designed to support and empower expectant parents through safe and effective movement. Using a blend of isometric holds and full-range exercises, this Barre-based workout focuses on maintaining strength, mobility, and pelvic floor awareness. Led by a certified professional fitness specialist, the class is tailored to honour the changing needs of your body during pregnancy.
Equipment Options: Instructors may incorporate props such as light and heavy weights, Pilates balls, Pilates rings, long therabands, mini loop bands, gliders, yoga blocks, or yoga straps to provide variety and support. Yoga mats are provided at the studio, so you only need to come dressed in comfortable attire.
*It is highly recommended you bring a towel, one will not be provided
What to Wear: Feel free to wear anything that makes you feel at ease and ready to move. No shoes are required; you can go barefoot, wear regular socks, or use sticky socks, which are available for purchase at the studio.
Pace and Modifications: The class is upbeat yet beginner-friendly, with options for all fitness levels. Our certified instructor will provide modifications to ensure safety and comfort, with extra emphasis on core and pelvic floor engagement. You are encouraged to choose the intensity that feels right for you, with no pressure—just the invitation to move mindfully.
What to Expect: Each session begins with a warm-up and progresses into arm exercises, lunges, pliés, squats, and glute work. The class includes specialized core work such as "baby hugs" and exercises that emphasize pelvic floor awareness. We end with a community-building moment, where participants can share experiences, discuss pregnancy-related topics, and connect in a supportive space.
