RISE and SHINE Class
RISE and SHINE is a gentle yet effective 60-minute class designed to start your day with mindful, body-weight-based movement. Inspired by Barre, this slower-paced class focuses on higher repetitions to engage and energize your muscles, leaving you feeling balanced and refreshed.
Equipment Options: Instructors may incorporate lighter weights (2-3 lbs), Pilates balls, Pilates rings, long therabands, mini loop bands, gliders, yoga blocks, or yoga straps to support and enhance your workout. Yoga mats are provided so you can show up ready to move.*
*It is highly recommended you bring a towel, one will not be provided
What to Wear: Wear what makes you feel most comfortable and free to move. Shoes are not needed; you can go barefoot, use socks, or try sticky socks, which are available for purchase at the studio.
Pace and Modifications: The class moves at a slower, beginner-friendly pace, making it accessible to everyone. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each exercise with options to modify or increase the intensity based on your needs. There’s no right or wrong way—just what feels best for your body on that day.
What to Expect: Each session begins with a warm-up to awaken your body, followed by dynamic, Barre-inspired movements like lunges, wide pliés, side-lying Pilates glute work, and side plank core exercises. The class concludes with a luxurious 15-minute stretch to leave you feeling relaxed and grounded. Move at your own rhythm, knowing that every choice you make is the right one for you.
