SWEAT Class

SWEAT is an invigorating 60-minute class that seamlessly integrates cardio and strength training intervals to keep your heart pumping and your body engaged. With a mix of low and high-impact options, this HIIT-inspired session is designed to be accessible yet challenging for everyone, from beginners to seasoned athletes.

The class structure features dynamic cardio intervals followed by focused strength training segments:

  • 2-Minute Cardio Intervals: Get your blood flowing with high-energy moves like jumping jacks or toe taps, with non-jumping variations always available to support your needs.

  • 4-Minute Strength Intervals: Build power and endurance using heavier weights or added resistance, with exercises like lunges and squats to target major muscle groups.

Equipment Options: Our instructors may use a variety of tools to enrich your workout, including light weights (2-4 lbs), heavier weights (5-7 lbs), Pilates balls, Pilates rings, long therabands, mini loop bands, gliders, yoga blocks, and straps. Don’t worry about bringing a mat; yoga mats are provided at the studio.*

*It is highly recommended you bring a towel, one will not be provided

What to Wear: Come dressed in clothes that allow you to move comfortably. No shoes are needed; you’re welcome to go barefoot, wear regular socks, or use sticky socks, which are available for purchase at the studio.

Pace and Modifications: The class moves at an energizing pace, but you are encouraged to work at your own intensity level. Our instructors offer guidance and variations to ensure you feel supported and challenged. Whether you prefer a gentler approach or a higher-intensity workout, there’s an option that fits your journey.

What to Expect: You’ll start with a warm-up to prepare your body, followed by cardio bursts and strength exercises. The class finishes with a calming segment that combines Pilates and yoga-inspired movements, leaving you feeling accomplished and centred.
